Initial Consultation and Fees

Welcome to my practice!

My goal is to support you in gaining a better understanding of yourself and in clarifying difficulties that stand in the way of fulfilling relationships and a meaningful life. We can explore the right path for you in an initial consultation.

How does psychoanalysis work?

Psychoanalysis offers a supportive space in which you can openly speak about your difficulties and, together with your analyst, begin to better understand the underlying causes of your problems. In this process, new and more helpful ways of dealing with emotional burdens can emerge, offering relief as well as a broadened sense of possibility.

It is often surprising to see how strongly our current decisions are shaped by early life experiences. When unconscious patterns and the connections between past and present become recognizable, one’s personal history can begin to feel less determining and limiting.

Every therapeutic process is individual and unfolds at a pace that suits you. Change develops gradually over time. With increasing self-awareness and inner flexibility, symptoms may shift, relationships may be experienced differently, and the handling of stress can improve. A stronger sense of stability and self-determination in one’s life often emerges as well.

Psychoanalysis can be a profound process that also includes challenging moments and enables personal development. Even feeling truly heard and understood can already be relieving.

About me

I am interested in how people integrate their own wishes and inner impulses with the demands and influences of the external world.

In my work, I approach each person as their own “universe” – unique and complex, shaped by contradictions, strong emotions, and often hidden meanings.

You are welcome to come to me with a wide range of concerns; sometimes it is even difficult to put into words what is troubling you – we will take the time to understand this together. Everything that moves you internally is welcome to be spoken about – including what may be difficult to express. Seemingly unusual, contradictory, or hard-to-grasp thoughts and feelings can also find their place here.

My interest particularly lies in the connections between psyche, language, and culture, as well as the broader perspectives that psychoanalysis opens beyond the individual.

At the same time, my long-standing life and professional experience in different cultural contexts informs my therapeutic work.
